Britain’s Got Talent – especially Northern Ireland !

At the beginning of August two girls set off from Northern Ireland to use their gifts and talents in serving the Lord overseas .

Lesley-Anne is a qualified teacher from Richhill and is spending a year working with OMS in Spain, she writes :
“I have been blessed to grow up in a Christian home and realised the enormity of God’s grace at an early age. During my year in Spain I will be working with a group of house churches and striving to share the love of God with the people in Spain. I will also be coming alongside young people and working with women’s groups. I’m excited to learn, grow, be corrected, be moulded and submit to God’s leading and love.”

Danielle is from Bangor.  After hearing about the need for teachers is in the South Pacific , she applied to OMS to go on a 12 month placement.

She has been blessed teaching her class of 7 year olds about God’s love and faithfulness.  She has also started a youth group with a local church.  Pray for her continued safety as she adapts to the different culture and learns more of the local language.  You can follow Danielle on her blog at http://www.dfcinsouthpacific.blogspot.co.uk

What God-given talents do you have?   What skills do you possess? Where might God be calling you to use them?
